Cartoon face modeling

Hi guys, does anybody know of any tutorials on Cheetah 3D cartoon face modeling? Or cartoon face animation in 3D? I Googled 3D Mickey Mouse and it looks very tricky. Thanks to Robert and Luke, I took your advice and looked at face modeling with other 3D programs and learnt something new. Very cool guys. Or is there a program for Mac that does the job. I'm not after realism just yet, I have Poser 7 and that seems to do the job. Thanks again for all the help. The attached pic is done in Cheetah and made from a ball, which is not the way to go, no control. But mapping the a face from scratch (which is what I'm working on) with polys using symmetry seems just the ticket. TerryG

The techniques here would work in C3D. It's actually easier to manage morph-target animation in C3D than skeletal animation. What a lot of people would do is (a) anything that works to create the morph targets (e.g. move, vertices by hand, use bones, use "magnet" tools, etc.) (b) then use morph targets to actually to the animation.
