I went and restored the main index page and a couple of others before it became obvious how bad the damage was. I saw a bunch of edits from random IP addresses and highly suspect user ids. Go to various pages and click history ... you'll see multiple spam bots racing each other to deface the page.
e.g. I don't think:
"lGcdpKPdOurPY" and "AIgkEUuteOOaUP" are C3D users.
What I'd like to see is a community-driven Wiki, but I'd also like to have a way to interact with C3D's online help -- i.e. suck the data out of it into the Wiki, then be able to edit it, and then be able to rebuild the online help from the edited version. I'm not up-to-date of Apple's help tools (in the past they have sucked beyond imagining) -- if it's not complicated I could build a simple tool for doing the conversions and put together a markdown-based Wiki to revise and build new content.
Personally I'd rather you didn't have to spend a single minute on docs beyond putting in the barest stub information for your early testers, who could then flesh it out.
