Where did my Animation go?

I am working on a animation, and I got about 1 and a half second in. Everything was working fine, so I saved the file and quit Cheetah. I came back to it a little later and now the animation is gone. The only keyframes that are still there are ones that are for an object that doesn't move.

I can redo the animation, since it wasn't to much, but I want to know if this has ever happened to anyone else, and if this will happen again. If anyone wants to have a look at it, I'll attach the file.

Recorded a few movements saved and reopened with animation intact. So can´t tell what went wrong with your auto keying.
BTW: I think it´s better to work with poses (record with "hierarchy" checked) so you can always return to a starting point. You don´t even have a base pose here.

Yeah, it's working for me now, but that was pretty scary...

And I try to avoid keying the whole hierarchy because it's a pain to go through every bone just move one keyframe.
