Time to choose one ...

Hi,

Just for the fun of using Cheetah3D. It's so easy to dream ... ;)
Thanks a lot to tj_jp's great script that made this possible so quickly !

waaw ! + 2 questions

hello !
this is top , nicely done, stylish and all !

i have2 questions :

1- where & how does the script apply that you mention ?

2- a feeling i also have with other gallery renderings : :confused:
the shadow parts seem to merge into one black soup;
although i have the uncomfortable feeling that much detail is present,
as i show in the retouched attachment.

So : François, are those shadows intended to be black, or do they appear
detailed on your screen, and does my monitor need calibrating?

thanks for shedding some 'light' on this ! :idea:

bye

tj_jp's script has been used to generate the 2 biggest diamonds. You can download the script in the script downloads section of the forum.

I'm not too sure I fully understand your question but here is a screenshot of both images on my monitor. There is clearly a difference. Now, on the left side, the black part on the box is more a lack of light rather than a shadow. The white part in your red area is the reflexion of the marble. Maybe I should have made the shadow on the marble a little lighter. As always, when do you stop tuning lights ... :cool:
