Deleting a post

Deleting a post

I started a new thread & did not Title it correctly.
I tried to edit it but though it appeared the Title changed when editing it,
when I logged out and checked the post in "New Posts" the thread still contained the old incorrect title.
I tried correcting it several times without success.
Thus . . .
I tried to delete it but couldn't find the Delete button
Therefore. . .
I started a new thread with the correct Title.
I then went into "New Posts" and the first thread now had the correct title.
I again tried to delete the first thread with this title but again . . . no Delete button.
Now there are two threads with the same information.
:redface: I'm sorry.
What can I do to correct it.

* Go advanced button
* There is a Delete button
* As far as I know only the OP / original poster and Martin can do that.

I have deleted posts in the past but for some reason the Delete Button isn't showing in either
the regular edit view or the advanced view today.
I hate to bother Martin.
Maybe I should wait until tomorrow and try to contact him?

I have been having brain blocks the last few days.
I forgot to add pictures to show what I was getting and
"low & behold" this edit window has the delete button

Don´t worry.
This also may be a "bug" in the application running the forum as your posts seem to be identical, word by word / verbatim. Maybe the software can´t determine the original poster - even if they are identical - and just sets the Delete button to invisible?
