HDR image question

are some of the photos at like istockphoto hdr images? and is there a place i can download hdr images?

Hi,
I haven't searched the web for some time but good HDR images are very very rare.

But there have been some links to HDR file posted in this forum. I just couldn't find them on the fast.

There were a couple of HDRI sources listed on this thread - if they still work...

If you want to make your own, you could try FDRtools (freeware).

For creating HDRI panoramas, you might also need something like PTGui (€79) - or you might find a cheaper alternative. :smile:
 
i got photoshop cs,but does it have to be an image i took w/ a camera or a can it be multiple versions of a photo i downloaded?
 
Ideally, you should have 3 or more photos taken at the same time at different exposures. The software is used to combine them into a single HDRI image.

I believe you can also create your own synthetic HDRI panoramas from Bryce.
