Resolution over 5000

Hi there,

does somebody know how i can increase the resolution height and widht so that it will be over 5000? I need a large image of my work for an event

Hope somebody can help me.

Large in my case is 4mtr wide. So it is pretty big.

Is there a possibility to render in parts without changing perspective?

No - There´s an orthographic camera projection - but I doubt it will fit your needs.

How large is the viewing distance? 5000px means 32ppi at the moment. An A2/300ppi format suffices a 18/1 (357 x 252 cm) large scale posters normally. So you´re after something around 7000px width.

I read photographers using
http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/resize9/
for scaling their 12MP Raw data.
Large scale posters can even work at 7dpi regarding the viewing distance. ;)

You may know all this, but a good illustration of this is billboard printing.
If you were standing up close to a billboard it would look like this.

If your viewing distance is very close then I think you need a software solution.
