how to add material

hi everyone,
howcome we can't add a material to an object like a cube let's say,
by simply dragging the material icon to it like it was possible in the
earlier version? many thanks..

which version of Cheetah3D and Mac OS X are you using? If you are using Leopard you need at least Cheetah3D 4.3.

Hi,
that's the source of the problem. Loapard broke drag & drop in Cheetah3D 4.2 and older. But I've adjusted Cheetah3d 4.3 to Leopard so that it works again. With 4.3 and newer drag & drop works fine again.
