import problem from Silo to Cheetah

import problem from Silo to Cheetah

Hello,

Here is a chair that I am trying to render in Cheetah from Silo 2.0. A funny thing happens. Weather I import into an existing file or open the .sia file format I cannot see the model, but it will render. All the materials show up but the object doesn't. Is their any way around this?

Image 1 A view of the Cheetah workspace after the file has been opened. I get the same result, an apparently blank screen after importing into a new file or just opening the .sia file directly.

Image 2 This is the render manager viewport of the same area that appeared blank in the first image.

Image 3 Here is the mesh in the model (Silo 2.0 screenshot).

Thanks,

Mike Jennings (jenn109)

Hi Mike.
Silo2 is in the flow as you might know - so maybe some things will change now and then.
For some strange reason the opacity of the color channel come in as set to 0%. So just increase it to 100%.

With kindest regards
Frank

making colors visible

Frank,

I will try the fix with the opacity slider.

Thanks for the quick response!
