Use both UV1 and UV2 at once

Use both UV1 and UV2 at once

I have an object that I have been trying to UV map. However some of the object is ideal for one mapping method and another part ideal for another.

I was wondering if it was possible to use both UV1 and UV2 at the same time so that texture on UV2 is overlaid on top of UV1 and anywhere UV2 is transparent will show through to UV1?
 
Then I think it can´t work because of the different layouts.
I just made a test with UV-set 1; one with flat color paint and saved to image and one with light baking.
Both images connected via mix-node works.
