as far as I know blender scripting works with python. What abaut cheetah. Does cheetah support Python scripts?

Hi,
I'm sorry to disappoint you but I have no plan to support a second scripting language. Javascript is a excellent and widely used scripting language. I personally don't see any reason why I should add a second scripting language. I better focus on extending the Javascript API.
