Location of material browser in 6.3.2

Hi there

... brand new to Cheetah, going through the tutorials (Hello World) and looking for the material browser, can not find it anywhere. Does anyone know how I display the material browser?

As a matter of fact the search box in the upper right corner does not respond, is this a bug?

Hi Rich and welcome,

The materials are stored here:
/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Cheetah3D

The Library folder is now hidden by default on OS X if you didn’t know. You can hold the option key down and then select the "go" menu from the menu bar. That should get you to the Library folder.

Edit:
Oops sorry, I think I mis-understood! You are looking for the material browser inside the application. Double click the "material" section in the bottom left of the screen in the main C3d layout. See my image if that doesn't make sense.

One can hide/unhide tabs via double-click or establish and change layouts via ctrl-click+select. The search works (objects/+/or/materials) from my point of view: only a result is displayed in the object browser.
