Arc Ball

I made this shape with a thin cylinder to start with,
copied and rotated twice and spliced together.

I always like your stuff zoo. I have a question for you. I notice the similarity of all your intersecting parts has a the same edge shape besides one. Why is that? was that the top of the original axis point?

Thanks Ronnie, that was a custom edit. The junction on center band
left is original and is organic to the construction method I used.
The middle and right ones are altered, just experimenting.
