extrude edge ?

extrude edge ?

Ello everyone im just wondering if theres a way to extrude edge ?

Like .. if you take a plane surface and want to start the modelisation with this part only by extruding the edge witch can create different part everytime i extrude it !?! :redface:

I know i can use the (scalpel) to cut the plane in 2 differents parts or I can use the other thing .. but extruding edge would be best and fastes ( I think )

Hi.
You can can use the "RingCut Tool" to cut the plane and use "Cover" (best if you set up a hot key for it) instead of "Extrude" when you´re in edge mode.
