Clear all animation settings

Clear all animation settings

Dear Experts,

Is there a way to clear all animation settings - for every object at a single click/stroke?

By this I mean that a complicated animation with lots of different elements could be reverted to a non moving scene - eg with everything in its frame 1 position - allowing a new animation to be made without having to first laboriously remove all of the key frames for each element of the previous animation.

What about this say you have two characters and you wanted to clear all frames for just one of the chracters? But keep the take.

Select the topmost object in the Hirarchy, select "Key Hirarchy" in the timeline, click on a keyframe, then select all (cmd+A) and delete them. But be careful, this does not work with tags. You have to delete the keyframes separately. I have not yet found out whether there is a way to delete everything at once and would be grateful for a tip.
