Export C3D camera data

Export C3D camera data

hey,
I was wondering if there is any way to export the camera data form c3d for use inside of after effects. I know that you can do this with 3ds max but I was wondering if C3D had the support for it.

I don't think it does, but you could script it. How does After Effects want the data? Some kind of spreadsheet I assume.

I don't really know the specifics on what AE is looking for (file types), and I have never gone through the process before because C3D is the only 3d app I have and I don't know if it works with AE yet. This Effect was done without a 3d motion tracker, he exported the data from 3ds max to AE and then used the camera in AE to do the panning... I have achieved similar results by motion tracking the background in C3D and locking the BG in AE to it. This sort-of works but the other way is a lot more precise.
