array tool undo?

array tool undo?

I used the array tool on a piece of geometry, but now I've just scaled that geometry and the array was scaled too. Is there a way to get rid of the array tool and redo it or do I have to redo the entire geometry?

Hi.
Not quite sure. Are you talking about
A. array modifier or the
B. main menu-tools-polygon-array thing?

For A. you can collapse the modifier by doubleclicking on it´s icon and ...then
for A.+ B. you can now group select specific objects for further transforming operations (Has to be in another than "Object mode" of course).

But still not sure what you´re after.
If it´s for an accurat placing for the legs under the round table I would recommend the chain modifier as the best method in order of full control and flexibility.

It was the polygon array tool I had used as opposed to the modifier. I don't think that there is a way to undo it (except +Z immediately after...).

You're right it was for the legs under the table. I ended up using the array modifier twice. Once for the X and then once for the Z axes.

I'll check out the chain tool next time.
