Video into C3D

Video into C3D

Is it possible to import a moviefile to C3D? If not this would be great for doing motiongraphics in 3D space. If not I have to throw this into the wishlist!

test

Yes I have use TddWR's script and it works suberbly well (clever guy)

I was playing around with a sample video I took of a slightly speeded up sky and used it as a backdrop using a simple pane and then duplicating it to use as a reflection see quick test: http://www.bocchinelli.com/clouds.mov

I was fairly pleased with the result that I'm gonna try doing a set with a building in position with a load people wandering around

Tutorial anyone?

Hi, I tried the script, but didn`t get it to work. I have probably done something wrong. Could anyone explain have to do this step by step, or maybe someone would like to do a video tutorial on this!

Thanks everyone!

Now this is why a wiki would be a good idea. Theres some great scripts around, but a lot of them need a mini tutorial. Is one thing for their creators to use them but another for a different person to understand.

Sorry i havent tried using this one yet.

A little search with "MatMovie" brings back these 3 links :

It should not be necessary to re-explain as clear step by steps instructions are already there in these threads. As indicated in one of them, you may have forgotten to set the "P" parameter when recording steps in the timeline. Remember also that the material used should be named xxxx.mov.
Hope this helps.
