Render all Takes

Render all Takes

Have 20 takes, all depending on each other. I need to render the first take, then the second, then the next ones. How do you render those? Manually one take after the other? Or with a script? Or a feature I didn't discover yet? Hints much appreciated!

...or "Save as" your file 20 times and render one Take from each file.

(Yes, I would like to have a render manager too - that would deal with Takes and frames within a Take, not talking about multiple animation files...

...don't worry, all that may come, one day, after the new material system ;-o)

thank you, Pierre and podperson. So, there is not even a way to do it with scripts? Like render, wait till complete, next take, render etc.

Not that I am aware of.

Actually it is more twisted than that. It's tricky to add external automation either as all the render windows have the same name.

But this may be fixed sooner as several guys asked for named windows if only to figure out which render window is attached to which animation file.
