Memory usage...?

Memory usage...?

MARTIN: I just realized that even after I quit and re-launch C3D... it still keeps a running "log" of previous renders until I go into that drawer and explicitly delete them. I rarely keep that side drawer open, so I'm usually oblivious to it... but I looked at it earlier and noticed I had about 40-60 "test renders" hanging out in there...

Does THAT eat-up a lot of my (our) memory...?

I may get into the habit of deleting them after each render if it does.

It's file-based so it doesn't use memory. (This is a new feature added in 4.5. Previously, renders disappeared when you quit, and were stored in RAM.)

I do like that new feature ! Ihve close C3D without saving my modelisation last time and I was really angry .. but! the rendered picture still there when i upon up again and I was really happy! Thanks for this new feature Martin !!

And in 4.6 I believe they'll be stored as compressed TIFFs vs. uncompressed, so we'll get less memory AND disk space wastage.
