Silo 3D actually gets an update

I know I'm not the only fan of Silo 3D here (although I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase it given their lack of updates and terrible communications) but it has actually been updated (mostly bug-fixes, a Linux version, and 64-bit support).

These days, I hardly use it at all. IMO Cheetah 3D has actually surpassed it as a modeler for most purposes (thanks to non-destructive modifiers and scriptability for starters), but one place where it simply rocks is producing clean booleans.

I've avoided Booleans almost completely and attempted to solve all my needs with manually combining elements through modeling just to stay in control of the mesh. -- BUT -- If Booleans like Tonio depicted (from Silo) are soon to be a reality in Cheetah -- HUZZAH !!!! :icon_thumbup::icon_thumbup::icon_thumbup::p
