Hello
I am new to Cheetah 3D and I started making a space ship and I wanted to know how to make the engien glow and emit light? Could someone please put a new tutorial in or tell me on this thread?

I sorry to say that but Cheetah3D doesn't directly support a bloom or glow effect yet. You can only fake it. Or you can postprocess it with Photoshop.

Hello,

this is sample scene. if you want to make fake-glow scene, you can use high Emissive value of Material or Solid Color with Radiosity tag ( type: radiosity ).

please, check sample movie, with Solid Color animated intensity value 0.1 to 50.0.

but if you want aura or glare of lights, you have to add it by post retouching.

Hi,
you could also add a quad with a texture of the glow behind the engine. But Photoshop is probably easier then that.

Hi,

Click the paperclip button,

Picture 1.JPG

then click on "choose file". Select the file you wish to upload then click choose click the upload.

Close that window. Click the paperclip button again and select your file;).
