Creating QTVR movies with the "QTVR Helper" script
Hi,
here is just a small explanation how you can create a QTVR panorma with the "QTVR Helper" script.
First you need the free "QTVR Make Cubic" tool form Apple. You can find it at:
Now it's time to start.
1. Set up the scene you want to render.
2. Position the camera at the center of the planed QTVR.
3. Set the camera "resolution width" and "resolution height" to the same value. So that you get a squared formt for each image. For example set the output resolution to 512x512.
4. Call the "QTVR Helper.js" script.
5. Cheetah3D now renders the six necessary images for a QTVR.
6. Save the six images in the order they were rendered with the names image1, image2, image3, image4, image5 and image6.
7. Drag and drop the six images onto the "QTVR Make Cubic" application icon.
8. "QTVR Make Cubic" creates now a QTVR movie and saves it with the name image.mov to your hard disc.
9. Double click the image.mov file and enjoy your new QTVR panorama
You can of course replace the word "image" in all the filenames arbitrarily.

Martin
P.S. The automatic saving of the files will be added later.
