SVG Import - Coordinate Problem

SVG Import - Coordinate Problem

I've imported some line art from an svg file and can't for the life of me get it to re-set the coordinates to zero. It still shows a white dot as if it's still in a folder (or in this case the svg document origin). Any ideas? I'm attaching the file and a screenshot to see if it helps.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean but you should normally just select the objects and move them to the place where you need them (in object mode).

Thanks for taking time to respond Martin. I think I understand now! I guess I didn’t realize that when you group items, the groups coordinates are set to zero. The grouped items then are offset from that origin if they aren't centered on zero. Is there a way to re-zero a group of items without removing the contained items first?

Edit:
Ok, I think I figured out that you just have to manually move the items inside the group back to center using the gadget. I guess there's no automatic setting in the coordinate system to do so. Again, thanks for the help. It's greatly appreciated.
