Subdivision ring patterns

All the pattern making on the forum latly inspired me to redo an old idea, when a triangulated mesh gets subdivided into quads, ring structures appear.
Applied on a simple menger fractal, bevelled and shelled, rendered with PBR metal and sky light by Falcon renderer.
The closeup render took 10h overnight and is still not noise free...
