hey Martin,
Thanks for such a great program. Everyone in production design are now Sketchup savvy. With Cheetah, I'm now ahead of the pack.
Forum: What do you think of these interiors? My first renders.

Hi,
thanks for the nice words. Are these "Set Designs" for a real movie or TV show?

Actually, just a upcoming commercial. Although, with all that I'm learning about cheetah perhaps I will get some future movies. The problem I've had with Sketchup is that presention is minimal. I can't take the sets to a whole new level with cheetah.
(Although, I'm still green and need a lot of hours to work this program)
How are you lighting these setups?

Hey Jake,
In the first setup, there are (2) pointlights (roughly at .6 intensity and an arealight (1.0 intensity) pointed at each windows. There is also a fog added to the this scene. The 2nd scene comprises of (2) pointlights (the one light in the corner set at 2.0 intensity and the other at .85 intensity) and there is also an arealight (1.0 intensity) coming through the window. The last setup has 2 arealights (the foremost lamp set at .85 and the other .35 intensity) and then a spotlight on the table set at 1.0 intensity.
All were rendered with attenuation set at 1/(r^2) and radiosity.
