Tuft of grass

I created a tuft of grass if anybody wants it, attached. Kind of high poly count but seems to move around the scene with ease. I know Hiroto created a script for hair, but honestly I can't make head nor tail of it. So I thought I created a tuft for future use.

Very nice tuft of grass. Thanks. The hair script is really good once you get the hang of the intricate parameters.

You're welcome. I know the hair script works, I've seen people use it well on the forum. But to me, I'm clicking away on all those little arrows and nothing is happening, apart from the hair getting longer and shorter, and bending. Pretty much. And you know after I've tried something dozens of times and nothing is happening, well I give up. It's not like there's a book to show you how things work. So I made a tuft for future use.

Setting aside objects for use in other scenes is definitely a time saver compared to going through the process each time for new scenes, or as you suggested, having to experiment with the parameters to get a certain style or look to an object. Like creating a mountain, tree, grass, buildings, etc, then replicating them where needed, adding them into one scene.

-------------Offtopic:
Too bad the characters can't be skeletoned and duplicated while keeping the poses for each duplicate. I hope it will be possible one day, as of now, they just source back to the original skeleton's poses until new poses are made for each duplicated character.
