Scale of .svg

I'd like to know if anyone has an idea of what scale is applied when exporting/importing .svg from Illustrator to Cheetah. I have an object (basically a square) that measures 1 cm x 1 cm in Illustrator. When I open it in C3D, the scale is something like 0.28 of the original. Any ideas of how to be able to predict things here?

Thanks!

Hi,

have a look at:

Menue:
Cheetah3D/Preferences/Import Export-tab

There you can set the scale factor for the different formats.

Sounds like you're working in a pixel-based document.

1cm = 28.3px (1px = 1/72 in; 1in = 2.54cm; 1/2.54*72 = 28.3)

Perhaps if you set the document rulers to cm you'd get more convenient results.

Thanks! This makes a lot of sense. I'll take a look at it.
