If there was a tool/editor to unroll objects and save out guide textures that you could then paint in your favorite paint program... Cheetah3D would turn into an even more super tool for game developers. The only thing I can think of to do at this point is import into Blender to do it, which hurts to use. :)

without any question is the LSCM unwarping algorithm a great tool. I've already downloaded some research papers which describe the algorithm. So the LSCM algorithm is also on my wish list but I first have to add some other stuff to Cheetah3D and finalize tools I've already started.
So it could take some time until I add that algorithm because the user wish list is already quite long.
